For post vaccination fever and for other causes of pain and fever (if your baby weighs <4kg - and was born after 37 weeks) for babies aged 2- 3 months: orally give a 2.5ml dosage. If necessary, after 4- 6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose. Do not give to babies less than 2 months. Do not give more than 2 doses within 24 hours to babies 2- 3 months. If further doses are required consult your GP or ask your pharmacist for advice. Make sure to leave at least 4 hours in between doses. For babies 3- 6 months: give a 2.5ml dose orally up to 4 times a day. For babies 6- 24 months: orally give a 5ml dose, 4 times a day. For an infant aged 2- 4 years: give a 7.5ml dose (2 separate 5ml + 2.5ml) up to 4 times a day. For a child 4- 6 year:, orally give a 10ml dosage (of 5ml + 5ml) up to 4 times within 24 hours.
