WHAT’S NEW: COVID-19 SERVICE UPDATE – ONLINE PHARMACY UK


Due to the impact of COVID-19, we are currently experiencing heavy demand for products; the deliveries are taking a minimum of three to five working days. Your delivery might also take a little longer than expected due to the present boom in demand on delivery networks. We understand that it is a stressful situation for many people across the UK, mainly those who depend on regular medication.

Whilst this is regrettably out of our control, we at online pharmacy UK are working hard to decrease the lead times and we will inform you know if your order is late. Kindly bear with us to be updated by email rather than preferring to call our customer services team as we line-up our most susceptible patients at this point in time. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has created substantial disruption but rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure that you receive your medication as quickly as possible.

 

We are functioning closely with our suppliers to keep necessities stocked up as frequently as possible. However, to help each one to have access to the prerequisites they need, we have restricted the sale of our selected range of health essentials between one to four units per item, per customer, based on the selected product.

 

CHANGES AT OUR PHARMACY

  • Social distancing

We at online pharmacy UK aim to ensure that we can safely supply the necessary medications as per our customer’s requirements. To help avoid spreading COVID-19, we have introduced social distancing into our pharmacies.

 

We request all our customers to maintain two metres of distance while they stand in a queue at our store. Also, are allowing only two customers in-store at one time. We are introducing all these measures for the safety of you and your colleagues. Apart from these, we are also encouraging contactless payment in-store. Please prefer this payment option whenever you can.

 

  • Opening hours

Due to the current pandemic situation (Coronavirus (COVID-19)) in the country, the demand for pharmacy services has rapidly boomed. To help accommodate this surge and serve our communities we have changed the opening hours of our stores. The changes done will help our healthcare teams have the time they need to serve our communities safely and minimise disruption to prescription services.

 

  • Stores will open one later

  • Stores will close for the last hour (stores with the late opening will vary)

  • Stores will have a break between 1 pm to 2 pm

  • Select stores will be closed on weekends

 

CUSTOMER SERVICES

Due to the high volume of emails and calls, our wait time is getting affecting. Our email turnaround time is currently eight to ten working days while call waiting can be up to ten to fifteen minutes at peak times. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and request you to contact us only if you have a serious and immediate need. As our respectful customers, we thank you for your patience.
