Is the site a legitimate pharmacy?

Yes. LifePharmacy Online is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), which is the independent regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises in Great Britain. It is the job of GPhC to protect, promote and maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of members of the public by upholding standards and public trust in pharmacy. Our GPhC registration number is 1089552. You can also confirm our registration by clicking on the 'Registered Pharmacy 1089552' logo, which is the green logo at the top right hand side of the page. We are also part of the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) which is the association for community pharmacy across the United Kingdom.

Privacy Policy

LifePharmacy Online is under the umbrella group HealthCare Concepts Ltd and is obligated under the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998. LifePharmacy Online pays importance in keeping your data safe and secure. When place an order, we need specific information such as address, email and telephone number in order to help us in processing your order effectively and efficiently as possible so that you experience the best service.

 

What information is needed and stored by us?

When you placing an order; the information required enable us to process your order as effectively as possible so that you can receive your goods without any issues. Certain information such as your email address will help us to notify your order status. Providing us with your telephone number helps us to contact you just in case if there is a problem with your order. When placing an order for ‘Pharmacy Online’ products, additional information is required such as symptoms, length of symptoms, etc so that our pharmacist can check and verify whether the product is suitable for you or not. This ensures that our customers are getting the right medication in accordance to their needs as our customer’s health & safety a priority. For our ‘Online Prescription’ service, we need to know whether you pay for your NHS prescription or not and detail of your medication. Again, additional information is required so that our ‘Online Doctor’ can verify and approve of your order.

 

What do we do with your information?

After you have completed your order and you have received your goods, your personal information is kept confidential on our system and not giving to anyone or company outside LifePharmacy Online. We may use your details for marketing promotions and keep you updated with our latest offers but they are all from LifePharmacy Online and not external companies. If you wish to receive these promotions/offers, you can opt IN on your accounts page under 'Newsletter Subscription', when 'Creating An Account' or by emailing us. If you don't opt IN, you are automatically opt Out. We also don’t keep & save any card payment details on our website and because we use SagePay, it ensures that your card details is protected and secured at all costs. Any refunds or cancellation of orders are also done via SagePay not via your bank.

 

Your Consent and Rights

By using our online website and service, you consent to the gathering and use of information as described above by LifePharmacy Online. If we ever decided to change our policy, we will inform you either by email or post. You also have the right to confidentiality under the Data Protection Act 1998, the Human Rights Act 1998. LifePharmacy Online also complies with the NHS Code of Practice on Confidentiality and Privacy, hence, LifePharmacy Online with our qualified pharmacists are obliged under the professional code of practice to keep customer’s details confidential, secure and private at all times.

 

Request to view your records

As one of our customers, you have the right to request what information we keep about you. If you require a detailed report, please let us know in writing and we will send the information via post. There will be a small charge for this and for security checks, you will need to provide a form of ID such as your driving license or passport; this can be a copy.
